with strong focus on visual storytelling, mood creation and cinematic composition in real-time environments and expertise in Unreal Engine 4 and 5.
I lead the artistic direction of lighting by establishing style guides, color palettes, mood, reviewing and polishing environments to achieve a cinematic standard while preserving gameplay readability and player guidance that maintain visual consistency across all levels.
Optimization for lighting performance by managing light complexity, avoiding unnecessary overlaps in light radius, controlling shadow casting and maintaining efficient use of dynamic and baked lighting, making sure each light has a clear purpose and contributes meaningfully to the scene without creating performance bottlenecks.
Mentoring and guiding lighting artists by providing feedback, setting quality benchmarks and pushing artistic growth within the team, ensuring lighting not only looks beautiful but communicates a story.
